Sapphire and Steel fans, make yourselves known. You will be contacted.
(And I'm talking big fans - you reference it in casual conversation; you speculate about what happened next; you either own episodes or you've seen them multiple times. I'm talking love here, people.)
They were pretty damn cool. They're kinda slow on viewing now - but there was some scary stuff in there. The guy in the photographs with no face still scares the bejesus out of me now.
I have the DVDs; and I have to say, many of the stories are still pretty damn spooky. The first one might still be my favourite, if only because I admire their ability to make a spot of light spooky. :)
I'm a huge fan of S&S, have been for years. Bought the DVD boxed set not so long about, and was pleasently surprised just how ell the show stands up a brazilion years later. I still reread the novelisation of Adventure 1 every so often, and last year my wife even bought me a copy of the one and only S&S annual. Recently I've been enjoying the audio dramas from Big Finish, which I heartily recommend.

I'm a big fan of Sapphire and Steel. :D
The faceless guy who hid in photos creeped me out as a kid. My favourite was probably the railway station with the ghosts and the Darkness, though. :)
Conan
Sapphire and Steel was the shit.

Yes, me!
I've only seen the episodes once through each, but I like them a lot and have played in an ongoing one-off based around "Diamond and Tin".
I also want Joanna Lumley's blue silk knickerbockers.
I agree with everything Jenni said!
Except I don't really want the blue silk knickerbockers myself. I think they'd look good on Jenni though.
I also played in the game and own the DVD's and sometimes channel Steel...
:)

You Tube has a couple of good scenes to help whet the appetite.
Really liked the one set in the train station with the nursery rhyme.
