Interested in discussing how to organise your life?

I'm thinking about doing a series of posts about ways to organise your life so it runs more smoothly. The series would draw off books and blogs I've been reading over the last 5 years, and stuff I've been trying out in my own life. It'd cover a mix of big and small stuff, like:

- to-do lists
- managing projects
- keeping track of the big picture of what you want to do with your life
- paying bills on time

Is this something you'd be interested in? I imagine it'd depend quite a lot on people asking and answering questions in the comments, so I thought I'd throw it open for discussion now.

Process tips are good. Though there is heaps of overlap among what works, and, as Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods"

I laughed when I read your title. Im just celebrating that I have managed to regain control of my mornings. With a toddler and a 7month organised is a lose term.

However in saying that I rely on my blackboard on the wall for noting down all those "oh I must dos' that pop in my head and lists. Loads of lists.

I don't go to the shops without one, even if it only has 1 thing on it. As you can bet that when you get home you will unload the bags and realise you forgot the one thing you needed :)

I think you should totally do this series, and I will try to not tease you (much). x

As above, please do this series - actually I reckon you should review all the classic self help books that I can't be bothered reading (as a service to me). Things like Seven Habits, and Think and Grow Rich and all that.

On another note, can you give me a call and tell me your street address? I have some books for you.
