Hey Steve, Saw both WotW and Batman Begins on the same daay in Bogor, Indonesia and I'm well justified in saying that Batman Begins kicks the arse of WotW.
WotW was enjoyable, but perverted my League of Extraordinary Gentlemen's knowledge of the WotW storyline. Which of course be the entire problem...
Yeah, that trip to Dr Moreau's to help fight the aliens is my favourite moment of WotW re-envisioning. I guess it's the total opposite of what Wells intended - for humanity to be completely helpless in front of the Martian threat.
