I think you know most of the crazy things that have been going on with me this week. One other thing I didn't tell you was listening to two friends competing over which of their sons was the most likely to be bisexual: "X loves to play with dolls", "Y said he was 'a hairdresser butterfly'". They're both winners!
Being asked by one of Matt's students in the supermarket if I had ever played 'that Cow card game of his', and then realising it's been 10 years since we made Dig. Crazy scary to discover a decade has snuck by without me noticing.
Extra weirdness: visited my brother's flat for the first time. It's in Oriental Bay, looking out over the harbour ... and I started having the weirdest sensation, flashing back to reading 'The Event' this morning - people looking into the water, walking into the waves. Coming out changed.
If you get a chance to take any photos from your brother's flat, that would be very cool. Matt is trying to get a bunch of cool or suitably creepy photos of Wellington for Event illustrations.

For me, my relationship status changed to "It's complicated" for a couple of days.
Was asked by a drunk man at Dead Snow sceening "which do you prefer, zombies or nazis?"
I said zombies.
Also I did Go Karting. That's weird stuff.
Go Karting brings out my need to beat Jon Ball. It's very primal.
I screamed a lot. Not at Jon Ball, at Go Karting.

Nothing weird happened to me this week, which is kinda weird.

@Debbie: I get the same thing when I tell people how long it's been since I was at university, and realise that it's over 10 years.
@Morgue: How is the St James event going?
@Helen: Hilarious, and I know exactly who you're talking about.
